Summer (and next year!) housing

Attention continuing and incoming students!

I am subletting my furnished one bedroom apartment from June 1 through mid-August. It is a nice apartment with plenty of windows and nooks (great for storage). For the summer there are great cross breezes that come from the lake 2 blocks away through the windows on all four sides of the apartment. The landlord is responsive, friendly, and has always been quick with maintenance. Laundry machines are in the building. Most importantly, the best place for the bed is in a turret!

My apartment

Cozy apartment - plenty of windows for summer breezes!

Campus is a short walk (5 minute bike-ride) away and the Capitol is even closer. This is a great location to walk to the Saturday Farmer’s Market or the Wednesday Concert on the Square (10 minutes) or to the UW Gym (SERF – 10 minutes). Plus, the lake is close enough to really have a great outdoor Madison summer! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, despite it being conveniently close to State Street and the Capitol.  An individual garage can be included for $50 more.

The dates can be negotiable. I am asking $650/mo. The apartment is furnished and would also be available for the upcoming 2010-2011 year. Let me know if you’d be interested! — Inglissteinf <at> wisc <dot> edu —
