Eric Grodsky, Associate Professor of Sociology here at UW-Madison, will present his talk “State Policy on the Ground: The Varied Effects of Remediation Policies across the California State University System”

1999 La Follette Alum Tamarine Cornelius will lead a discussion on her work on KidsCount and the Wisconsin Budget Project as a part of her position with the Wisconsin Council of Children and Families. Snacks will be provided!

Attend this event with Dave Varana, Section Chief, to hear about the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Long Term Care’s work, issues in health policy, and their prospective hiring plans.
5. Legislative Fiscal Bureau Site Visit

Join LSSA for the first site visit of the Spring Semester! The Fiscal Bureau has hired many La Follette Students in the past. The visit will give students an opportunity to learn more about the LFB, network with current employees, and ask any questions they may have.
